2004 Basket Brigade

“Rod Khleif declared we’re doubling this event every year”. This year Mr. Khleif with the help of his assistant Julie Dixon, his employees family and friends delivered over 200 baskets and turkeys to needy single parent families. Rod Khleif personally funded the entire event, but said “there would be no basket brigade without the help of all of you beautiful people!”

One of the 50 volunteer drivers we had this year called back and was crying. She told us she had just come from a house where a single mom had 5 children. She told us when the mom came out of the house and saw the food she started crying. Then her five children came out of the house and all started crying.
