2005 Basket Brigade

 Our biggest event to date. We delivered over 400 baskets and turkeys and stuffed animals.  Rod Khleif had one of the volunteer drivers come up to him and tell him, “This thing has changed my life”. “I had no idea people lived like that”. He committed to Rod that he was going to change his life to start helping people regularly. Rod said “this is the ripple effect we’re looking for”. If we can impact others to give, and brighten the lives of children, we have accomplished what we wanted.

 “Rod Khleif’s children, Alex and Myles helped again this year”. As you can see from the pictures it was raining  through a lot of the process, but everyone persevered and got the baskets delivered.

 Rod Khleif funded the entire event, but told the over 200 volunteers. “You people’s generous commitment of time and energy are what make this event possible!” We’re definitely doing 800 in 2006!
